I know we are not yet done with 2013 but the reading challenges for 2014 have started popping up all over the internet. I debated quite a bit about setting targets for 2014. While I loved the Book Bingo challenge I took this year I am not sure if I have it in me to attempt something like that in 2014. It was a lot of work. I do want to read (a lot) in 2014 but I want to have some time to try my hand in something other than reading (consider yourself warned – whatever I do will spill over to my blog).

I thought the 2014 TBR Pile Reading on Bookish was an ideal fit for what I wanted to accomplish in 2014. I just want to make a dent at my to-read list in Goodreads. I currently have around 350 books on the list and keep adding books that fascinate me. I am hoping to read at least 50 (seems very doable right now) books from my to-read list on GoodReads for 2014.

Oh yup and I also got done with my GoodReads challenge for 2013. 75 new reads in 2013. I came across some absolute treasures that I will stay with me forever. I will have a post of all the books I read this year up sometime towards the end of the year.
