About Me
Howdy! Welcome to Light Pixels! This blog is my canvas for my photos and thoughts. My photography has been influenced mostly by my childhood memories. We used to have a lot of books at our home, mostly of wildlife images, and these books like “The Living Planet” by David Attenborough left a lasting impression on my mind about the rich diversity of wildlife in our planet and the need to preserve it. When I started photography, that was one of the inspiration for me to shoot Avian and Wildlife images.
I was born and raised in the state of Tamil Nadu in India, which is primarily known for the great temples built by the ancient rulers. The kings of Tamilnadu were prolific builders and most of the temples stand to this day and continue to attract pilgrims from all over India. The South Indian temple architecture is unique with its enormous gopurams and exquisite carvings. I’m still in awe everytime I see the magnificient temples of South India, and it is my dream to compile a set of photographs and essays on these awe-inspiring structures.
I love travelling, well who doesn’t? I always carry my camera wherever I go. Photos of iconic places might be so overdone, but I love photographing them, trying to provide my own perspective to the place.
Thanks for looking at my images. Please do leave your comments and suggestions. I appreciate them.
