Chennai, India

Just 2 days before I start my new life in Singapore. I am still jetlagged or is it jitters? I am awake early in morning watching my daughter sleep and telling myself I can do it. It is scary – especially when you hear stories about A,B and C who made a move from US to Singapore and could not survive Singapore. These stories scare me and as much I convince myself I am strong enough to do it – it is hard.

I take in the familiar comforts of childhood – a glass of rose milk, the familiar assorted earrings and necklaces I wore as a kid, the stories behind many of the curios decorating the house and breathe out. I will enjoy it another day and get ready for the new adventure in Singapore.

I promise myself that I will have fun along the way, live my dreams and reach for the stars.
