2020 was once a dream. It was the year when I had it all figured out.

2020 dawned. I set the alarm, woke up at 11:55 pm, watched the fireworks over Petronas towers and promptly feel asleep again. Well, I guess I can say, I welcomed 2020 in style. But that is me. That me has not changed and I hope when I write about 2025 or 2030, the me remains the same.

2019, was a good year. I have had enough reasons to smile and laugh. To celebrate and rejoice. Yes, I did cry and groan. I would like to believe I emerged stronger. Books and travel and work were the highlights of 2019 and I am sure they will be the highlights of 2020 as well. (that is if my hair decides not to seek glory by falling in clumps)

My 2019 Word of the Year – Flow applies to 2020 as well. I plan to go with the flow, curving and meandering and seeking solace in words. I will read middle grade fiction and leadership books. Pulp fiction and picture books. All the heart desires as I flow along.

I will be grateful and thankful for the opportunities – the doors and windows that open. I will attempt to use each and every one of them. They may lead me to places I have never been and that is exactly what I desire. Experiences and Adventures.

I will introspect and reflect more. Those rose-colored glasses I wear tend to paint a different picture than what reality is. The glasses need to be abandoned while I dig deeper and find ways to be a better human. I will listen more, write more and talk less. (How much of my writings will end up on the blog is a question I don’t have answers to just yet).
