Awesomeness
She does something super cute silly. R and me exchange smiles
Her: Why you make smiley face mommy?
Me: I cannot even make a smiley face?
Her: No

We are awesome girls mommy!

Her: Why do you look at the computer?
Me: Because I am doing work
Her: Why do you work?
Me: To keep busy
Her: Why do you keep busy?
Me: Otherwise I will get bored
Her: What board?
Me: Not board – bored
Her: Why do you get bored?
Me: Because I am not busy
I crowned myself the winner
Her: I want to close your laptop
and I agreed 🙂

She grabs the comb and hairbows
Me: What are you going to do?
Her: I comb your hair. Make your hair beautiful
Me: My hair is already beautiful – I do not need your help
Her: No mommy – your hair is messy. You scared Mommy? Don’t worry
She has her way and then beams at me
Her: You look so beautiful mommy!
I melt

We are reading a book about plants and we come across the word “greenhouse”
Her: Is there a purple house also mommy?
********************
We read a book about pilots, sailors, submarine captains, cyclists, ballonists, engine drivers and she made her first career choice
Her: I want to be captain of yellow submarine
It later changed to a cyclist – watch out Lance here comes my daughter 🙂

Pretend Play with Granny – she is making “Rose Milk” for her grandmother. She has never heard of the rose milk before. Her hands fly, different utensils fly and then she offers a cup to her granny and says
Here drink flower juice
Her mind registered rosemilk as flower juice – needless to say I was awed.

June 1, 2012 at 11:49 amSeriously these conversations with Iniya are so adorable. It is amazing how kids look at the world with wonder and awe. Wish we could remind ourselves of the child in us. It is quite inspiring.. 🙂 Touch wood.. keep them coming..
