Her: (to her grandmother and friends in Chennai) Mommy come and kuttyma go to “my house” …….. later I come to Chennai

She is staking her claim 🙂

We attended a Bharatanatyam arangetram and she has fallen in love with “Maadu meikum kanne” – so much in love that she learns to sing it within days. She is so enthralled with everything to do with baby Krishna.

Her: When I see elephant, I smile and sing a happy song – elephant become my friend. And repeats for every animal.

We are having a talk about animals and their homes and not disturbing them

To grandfather who had just returned from work who typically buys some treats for her every evening

Her: Did you bring something for me?

Grandfather: What something?

Her: You go to office and there are things in office correct? You bring something for me from office

Her: No I do not want to

Grandma: We got them for your friends so we need to share.

Her: But the bumblebee will miss its mommy (aka herself)

Where does she learn this stuff?
