Indian mythology seems to be a great inspiration for many authors and Prathik Kamat is one of them. From the title to the attention-seeking cover, the book screams fantasy, intrigue and mystery.

This book also heralds in hopefully a new trend of superheroes with links to Indian mythology. Svaha in the simplest terms revolves around the plot of good over evil. The selfish motives get crushed under the influence of the good.

The sub-plots in the book are tight and seem to fit into the giant jigsaw making it a pleasurable coherent read. Kamat has kept his writing crisp and characters different and unique. Slash, the 19 year old protagonist and Solider X seem to pop-out and stay with you.

Kamat is an author to watch out for. If fantasy and mythology is your genre pick up the book now.
