Remember this book I loved? This is the sequel and ofcourse I had to read it. I read it long back and I forgot to write a review. I am hitting the absent-minded bookworm stage. Scary!

If I stay – the heartbreaking book about hard decisions Mia has to take was one of my favorite reads. Where she went is as simple as the first book and creeps into the books I like group. It is more about relationships and moving on. It leads you on – you know how it will end but you still want to read it. The choices we make many times are capable of killing us. Too often I know making the decision was the easiest step and in Where she went, Gayle Foreman tells you just that.

Mia makes a decision and is now a famous cellist. Her life post the tragedy meant her walking away from Adam. Adam is famous – a famous music star and is breaking down just like most music stars. Drugs, fights and a girl friend. Mia and Adam cross paths in New York and then they figure out what kept them apart and find comfort and solutions.

Not the easiest book to write but Gayle writes it wonderfully well. Simple and powerful.
