1) I made my first trip to London earlier this year and I also read my first Jane Austen in 2013. Quite a mometous year I think. One of the first things that hit me as I traveled from Heathrow Airport to my hotel was how much the books I enjoyed made sense after seeing the landscape. I liked the bits of London I saw and I want to see more of it. Hopefully soon. Meanwhile I came across this guide to see Jane Austen’s English Countryside. It goes to my gypsy dream list.

2) When you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything or try to find something nice to say.

3) And this makes me wish I had the patience and the talent. Beautiful works of art made with a scissors and a piece of paper via Twisted Swifter

4) These words by E.B White [on Explore] probably explains how I best feel about reading – it almost like a sexual relationship – demanding and at ideal conditions brings ecstasy.

5) World food gets me excited and this great collection of photos of grandmothers and their signature dishes has me drooling.

Click On is a weekly feature on Poohsden featuring links I read and pondered over. I do try to restrict the number of links I post but often there is just so much goodness going around to share! Share some of your favorite links, I love discovering things that make people smile, groan and grumble.
