1) As I watch family come to terms with old age and the bounty it heralds in, this artist’s works touched me. [Via Bored Panda]
2) I learned about European Eels and their unusual lifestyle along with kuttyma. These eels are born in saltwater and then they migrate to the freshwater rivers to live. They head back to the saltwaters to reproduce. They are critically endangered. They are also victims of noise pollution. [Via Smithsonian]

4) There is this ugly building near Downtown Houston (it is the Federal Reserve Bank on Allen Parkway) that I personally call the Bread Box. This post reminded me of that building [Via FastDesign]
