Cooking with kids – Oatmeal Raisin M&M Cookies
Now that kuttyma is older, I decided to get her to “help” me with cooking/baking.
I have been asking her to help with mixing and transferring things to the bowl. Yes it does get messier but that is the fun part right? It is also a long process.
Our first attempt was oatmeal raisin M&M cookies – a healthier version made with whole wheat flour.
Here are some pictures and the recipe

@obsessivemom – Regular cooking oil or vegetable oil will work well. You just need an oil that does not have a strong flavor. Microwave – I have never attempted – maybe I can test it out

January 19, 2012 at 12:25 amCame over from Shruti’s. The cookies seem wow and super easy to make… can I substitute regular cooking oil for canola oil? Is there a microwave version? I really need to get myself an OTG.
