K : Kindergarten
Kuttyma recently “graduated” from kindergarten and I will be honest I did shed a few tears. How fast does time fly?
I have distinct memories of my kindergarten days at RSK. Many of the memories are of course aided by photographs. I assume it was hard work being in school, sitting still and learning to read & write. I remember my teachers, first friends and those classrooms. I remember the scary school bell, the nice teachers (and the ones who used to scare me too).
Check out mini-me as a kindergartener,
Pint-sized desks and chairs
First steps into a new world
Thoughts for the growing minds
Slate boards and chalk sticks
Friendships that last a lifetime
Curves and lines to trace
Fists, fights, falls and fears
Teachers who inspire and nurture
Second home it is
Pink trees, orange seas
Inside, in between, outside lines
Pictures to colour
Leaning in and on
Standing in line, forming a train
Friends for life we promise
Many miles to go
Big shiny polished shoes to wear
Snacks to munch on
Fears to be overcome
Opinions to form, a world to rule
Tomorrow awaits
Coming up tomorrow, L: Lunch Boxes
