Nailed
Most of my days are a blur. Weekdays especially between 4am and 9pm I have no clue where the hours go by. This and that – here and there – millions of things to do and I just keep going. I am not complaining – I like it this way. Well on most days. There are some days when I want to curl up and sleep and not be bothered about dinner plans.
One of my biggest weekday challenges or so I think is looking professional at work. It is hard to look professional with food stains on your clothes. However hard I try, I end up with something smeared on me. But then I have just learned to live with it. The day I end up at work without food strains will be an achievement indeed.
Clothes does not bother me but nails do. Neatly manicured nails dolled up with polish drives me nuts. I look at my pathetic nails and feel sad for them. I never give them a chance. I barely make time to clip them forget the manicure. It does make me jealous to see the beautiful nails some women have.
Someday I will have those, I promise myself

October 19, 2011 at 12:19 amWorst is when you are on your way to your client’s place. You are in an elevator packed with people. you see some women with painted toe nails and many with a shoe to cover many a mistake below. it’s then you realise and look down…too late… everybody is looking at your feet…chapped and uncovered…do you even want me to further elaborate on the embarrassment…And hey! one would only think I am prepared the next time…But don’t we all know..

October 18, 2011 at 7:07 pmLol Kannamma! What is with women who have perfect nails? How do they do it? Even if I remember to dab some polish on them – I do not let them dry and then they look clipped as time passes by
