Oh Houston
I landed 24 hrs ago in Houston. I cleared immigration and walked towards baggage claim with a big smile on my face. I turned to R and said “it feels like coming home”. Houston is still home.
The silence, the lack of people, the bare trees all scream of a comfort zone. I missed it.
I am jetlagged and with a big to-do list.
But I sit here blogging and wondering what made me leave Houston
A question that has hundred’s of answers but none of them bring comfort
