Read 2016
A brand new year to read. 365 days to read, to travel to new worlds and discover new characters and authors to fall in love with. To discover genres and places. To complain about TBRs and discuss books. I am excited. I love the prospect of a clean slate and I have plans for 2016 – reading plans that is.
Here are my plans
- I am not officially signing up for any challenge. Even the Goodreads challenge. I am still planning to finish up my #TSBCReadsIndia challenge.
- Re-reading books is the focus of 2016. For every new book I read, I will re-read one.I hope to examine a book from a totally different angle and let it change me.
- Write about books I love here. I am also doing away with my monthly 5 Books posts this year .
- Write – on paper and pen words, sentences and lines that touch me, move me and astonish me. I have literally given up the habit of paper and pen so time to reintroduce it to my life. (I actually started doing this mid December and I love this project)
- Read more of kuttyma’s books. Kuttyma’s reading skills have grown and she is discovering wonderful books I have never heard of. I love reading them. I hope to devote more time to reading books she loves.
- Be a more active book blogger and instagrammer. (I know I am just trying find my feet in the world of instagram. So show some love. Follow me)
Simple goals and I look forward to another year filled with books. What are your reading plans for 2016?
