Saturday Update – Week 2
If you are not familiar with my big plans 2010 read them first.
Week 2 has not been bad. Let me wrap it up
Blog more often – The travelogues are yet to be started but I did manage to get a couple of posts at Poohsden and I am quite happy about the way they turned out. I also remembered to reply to the comments.
Lose the baby weight – I worked out just once this week. Not so good.
Bake More – I made a roasted vegetable lasagna, some oreo truffles with peanuts and some mini turtle cheesecake. They all came out good. I really need to save the recipes I like. How do you store your recipes? Any tips?
Read Geography – I started. Now I know there are 195 countries in the world and I also the newest country formed is Kosovo. I started off with reading about countries in N.America and know most of the capitals and the locations of N.American countries on the world map. Not big progress but hey I started. Next stop, S.America and if time permits Asia.
Keep kuttyma’s baby journal updated – No!
Finish my handicraft projects – Yay! I finished my baby blanket before kuttyma turned 5 months old. I started it when I was around 7 months pregnant. (Okie – let me be honest this post is scheduled and I am hoping to get the blanket done by the time it publishes. Fingers crocheting) I have plans for another project and I got the material and I have set myself a target of 2 weeks.
Have an organic container veggie garden – I have been googling and reading a bit but no concrete plan yet.
It has certainly been more productive than last week so hopefully the trend continues .More updates next week. Any suggestions or words of encouragement? Post away. I need them.

January 31, 2010 at 7:23 pmYeah! for some strange reason I am finding my outlet in baking… I would have thought that after a busy day with kuttyma, I would actually enjoy a couple of hours reading or just doing nothing while R watches over her. But instead I am slogging in the kitchen… I rarely understand myself these days
But I did finish my baby blanket this week!!
