Trumpeting Fun
Elephants was the theme choosen by the now 3 year old for this year’s birthday party. We had a 10am party when the kids are active and happy. It was a good way to spend our Saturday morning
Dress : Elephant tee with tutu from Lilac & Lime Etsy Shop with colors choosen by the birthday girl – highly recommended
Cupcakes: Oni Cupcakes – they use fresh buttercream and were happy to customize the cakes to meet my requirements. I did not order a full size birthday.
Cookies: Elephant shaped cookies from Let them eat Cake (they also supplied the birthday cake kuttyma took for her school party)
Craft Corner: CD Elephant puppets
Books Read: Thanks to the amazing ladies who shared their suggestions on Book Lane. Here is a list of books I picked up for the party
Game: Elephant Bean bag toss. R cut an old cardboard box and I made the felt bags. The kids took home elephant bean bags as a favor also
Favors: Color-it-yourself mugs. These mugs came with some coloring templates. I created one to match the elephant theme. Some kids enjoyed the coloring session. I also had some candy in a elephant inspired favor bag
Elephant Cups: Just to add a special touch to the party drinks
Food: Homemade sandwiches (cream cheese and cucumber, chocolate and banana, , spicy aloo masala) cut into elephants.
Homemade savoury kuzhi paniyarams with chutney
Pineapple Yogurt Dip and Elephant Trunk fruit kabobs
Chipotle Hummus and Chips
Elephant Eyes – Raisins
Yogurt Cups
