Virtual Book Club for Kids – Julia Donaldson
Julia Donaldson has been a favourite at home ever since we picked a copy of The Gruffalo at the library years ago. We have gone through a lot of Julia Donaldson books and enjoy her quirky rhyming writings and great illustrative support. I never realised how many books Julia Donaldson had written. We hauled as many as we could find in our library back home. Having a voracious reader helps. As a part of the Virtual Book Club we discovered Julia Donaldson’s other works – her poems, phonics books, plays, rhymes and chapter books.
“Snake who Came to Stay” will forever remain special as it is the first chapter book kuttyma read by herself. Julia Donaldson’s fun story kept kuttyma captivated through the 7 chapters.
