Eddies around me

swirls on me

my feet buckle;

I struggle to stand

Emotions cloud my sight

the world is blue

and then black;

Words abandon me

jumbled letters dance in glee

self-doubt rears its head;

I struggle to find my voice

Silence greets me

eerie whispers float in the air

the eye of the vortex;
