Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano is a character from the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan.
Reyna is a Roman demigod. Demigods are children of the gods and normal humans (mortals). There are Greek demigods (children of Greek gods) and Roman demigods (children of Roman gods). She is the daughter of Bellona, the goddess of war. Reyna has learned how to be tough and strong and was appointed the praetor, the highest rank in the Roman camp, Camp Jupiter. I loved seeing the different sides of Reyna and how strong and determined she is. She definitely was one of my favorite characters in this series.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:
These are other characters whose names start with R who I enjoyed reading about.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare (The Percy Jackson series- Rick Riordan)
Raina Telgemeier (Smile, Sisters, and Guts- Raina Telgemeier)
Reha (Red, White, and Whole- Rajani LaRocca)
Rose Alice Anders (One Jar of Magic- Corey Ann Haydu)
Ridley Larson (The Magic Misfits series- Neil Patrick Harris)
My kids loved those books. The movies…well they did not quite live up did they?
They didn’t get to the part of the series where the Roman gods were introduced. I was always a little curious how the Green and Roman gods got along.

These books are so good! It’s really interesting to see how all the gods got along.
