This sweet dish is absolutely delicious and I loved it, as a snack or as a meal. It&#8217;s also really easy to make, so I thought I&#8217;d share the recipe with you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1\/2 cup raw rice<\/li><li>1\/4 yellow moong dal<\/li><li>1 cup powdered jaggery<\/li><li>1 cup milk<\/li><li>3 cups water<\/li><li>2 tbsp cashews<\/li><li>1 tbsp raisins<\/li><li>3 cardamom pods, smashed with a mortar and pestle<\/li><li>3 tbsp ghee<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Soak the rice in 1\/2  cup water for around 10 minutes.<\/li><li>Turn on the foodi on saute mode (low). Add a teaspoon of ghee and fry the cashews and raisins for a few seconds. When the cashew starts to get brown, remove them and set it aside.<\/li><li>Now add the moong dal and fry it for around 45 seconds, then press cancel.<\/li><li>Add the rice, milk and water to the dal, then pressure cook for around 10 minutes, or until the pressure releases.<\/li><li>Open the lid and mix it a bit. The rice and dal should be fully cooked. Now, add the jaggery.<\/li><li>Turn on the saute mode (low) and cook until the jaggery melts completely.<\/li><li>Add the ghee, the raisins and cashews, and the cardamom power, then cook for about 3 minutes.<\/li><li>Enjoy!<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I made chakra pongal on the Ninja Foodi and I really enjoyed it.
